This site which once housed the former Boyd Hall a historic church building, is a sensitive location containing a number of preserved trees within a historic setting. The proposals for 9 detached houses responded to the history of the site by taking on a style and character that reflected the former church hall which once occupied the site.
Each house was individually designed to provide a mix of styles, whilst using materials across each house that tied the development together as a whole. In addition to providing family housing the proposals also provided a new rectory for the local church.
The houses have been carefully positioned within the site to maintain the preserved trees, retaining an established landscape.
